This guide explains how to connect, use, and disconnect the Telemedicine integration.
1. How to Install (Connect)
To link your Zoom account to your Doctor profile:
- Log in to your Doctor Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings > Integration > Zoom Telemed > Zoom OAuth Configuration.
- Click the “Connect Zoom Account” button.
- You will be redirected to the Zoom authorization page. Click “Allow”.
- You will be redirected back with a “Connected” success status.
2. How to Use (Create a Meeting)
Once connected, Zoom meetings are created automatically:
- Go to Appointments > Add Appointment.
- Select a Patient and a Service that is enabled for Telemedicine.
- Click Save.
- Open the Appointment Details (Eye Icon).
- You will see a “Start Zoom Meeting” button (for Doctors) or a “Join Meeting” button (for Patients).
3. How to Uninstall (Disconnect)
You can revoke access at any time using one of the following methods:
Method A: From Triple Helix Science (Recommended)
- Log in to your Doctor Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings -> Integration -> Zoom Telemed -> Zoom OAuth Configuration.
- Click the “Disconnect” button.
- This effectively logs you out and deletes your access tokens from the system.
Method B: From Zoom Marketplace
- Log in to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Click Manage > Added Apps.
- Locate “Telemedicine” and click Remove.
